A Simple Gesture

The Rotary Club of Windsor  is partnering with a A Simple Gesture (ASG)  to help solve food insecurity right here in Windsor. The program is as simple as it sounds. Donors sign up to leave a bag of food on their porch and/or sign up as a driver or simply make a monetary donation.

We are thankful for the ongoing support from the Redwood Credit Union.

​The Rotary club will schedule the pickup dates, and you will receive an email to confirm your participation. You fill a bag with shelf-stable food, place it on your porch or wherever you wish, and a driver will pick it up. Please check expiration dates. The food will go directly to the Windsor Presbyterian Church Food Distribution Center and be used in Windsor only by those in need.

In some chapters ASG is collecting enough food to meet the entire demand of a local pantry.  The operating partner for this chapter is the Rotary Club of Windsor and the Interact Club of Windsor High School.   Our ultimate goal is to meet the needs of all the food pantries in the town of Windsor.  Nobody should be going to bed hungry. Thank you for joining us in this important cause.
